About Me
I received my first camera as a gift when I was ten years old. Since then, I always had a point-and-shoot camera of some sort lying around the house, but my interest has never gone beyond taking a few shots a year. After hearing that I have an eye for photography from friends more than a few times and with much encouragement from my wife, I bought my first professional camera when I was 39 years old.
The purchase of a camera and beginner-level training allowed me to start experiencing the real magic of photography. It is hard for me to express how intensely I enjoy spending time shooting and post-processing. I am a fan of shooting the Milky Way and landscapes. When time or the weather does not allow me to be in the great outdoors, I do street photography.
I am blessed with a devoted, loving wife and a wonderful son. I live by a motto that I have created: "Life is like a soap bubble. Live it as if you are gone by dawn".
